DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in the academic Year 2002-2003 & Post Graduate Programme M.E., in Power Electronics & Drives in 2013-2014. It has well equipped laboratories with a state of art Electrical Machines, Power Electronics & Power system Simulation Lab equipped with software’s such as MATLAB, PSIM, etc., Qualified and experienced faculty members have been involved in teaching and conducting various short term courses for the benefit of students. The department initiates the U.G., & P.G., research projects in Embedded Systems, Power Systems and Power Electronics through the IEDC and MSME which is based on the collaboration of institution and industry.
To develop eminent Electrical and Electronics Engineers with quality electrical, electronics and interdisciplinary knowledge and skills embedded with innovation, creativity, research and ethical values
- To impart fundamental and advanced education in Electrical, Electronics and interdisciplinary disciplines, suitable for emerging industrial needs through quality infrastructure and resources.
- To endow the students in research activities leading to innovation.
- To inculcate the habit of leadership, ethics and lifelong learning for betterment of self and society.
PSO I: Will be able to identify, formulate and investigate various real time problems of Electrical Machines, Control System, Instrumentation System, and Power Electronic & drives.
PSO II: Can develop conventional and renewable energy systems for Power generation and distribution
PSO III: Will be Successful in developing electrical systems & innovative solutions pertaining to industry and Society.
The Graduates of PMC Tech’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program shall
PEO1: Have strong foundation in mathematics, science and engineering to formulate, solve and analyze Electrical and Electronics Engineering problems.
PEO 2: Have ability to provide innovative solutions pertaining to Electrical and Electronics Engineering to emerging industrial and societal problems.
PEO 3: Be able to communicate and indulge in life-long learning and practice professionalism with ethics.
