DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students. The Department has well qualified and experienced 12 faculty members to improve the student’s skills in all aspects. The department has well equipped laboratory facilities with all latest and recent software’s as prescribed by the University. The Department has signed MoU’s with leading companies to enhance and to implant technical skills to students. The Departments has organized various Workshops, Conferences, Symposium and Seminar to build the talents and to bring the exposure
To impart quality education in information technology education to meet the globally emerging technological trends and challenges.
- To provide technical, problem solving and design skills related to Information Technology for successful career, higher studies and research.
- To provide quality infrastructure and conducive environment for Information Technology Graduates to get adapted to changing and challenging industrial and technological scenario.
- To practice continuous learning in technology, ethics, entrepreneurship, leadership a communication for professional and personal development.
PSO1: Ability to analysis and design complex hardware and software problems in System Software, Cryptography and Network Security, Design and Analysis of Algorithm, Computer Networks, Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, Data Mining and Big Data by applying knowledge of mathematics, basic sciences, and Information Technology basic and advanced knowledge.
PSO2: To manage Information Technology Projects with consideration of the human, financial, ethical and environmental factors.
